Heading to a football game? Try transit and enjoy a stress-free trip. Learn the best ways to get to and from BYU’s LaVell Edwards Stadium and share this with your Cougar fan colleagues.
UVX
Utah Valley Express (UVX), or Route 830X, runs almost door to door between the BYU stadium and FrontRunner. You can connect to UVX at FrontRunner Orem Central Station or FrontRunner Provo Central Station, or any stop in between, and get off UVX at the BYU Stadium station. After the game, we encourage you to head straight to Provo Central Station via UVX to ensure better connections to FrontRunner. UVX runs during the week and on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. It runs every 15 minutes with direct connections to bus and FrontRunner.
As a reminder, you need a ticket to ride UVX. The easiest way to pay is to plan ahead and download the Transit app. You can transfer to UVX using your FrontRunner ticket or tap your pass or FAREPAY Card on the card readers on FrontRunner and UVX platforms. For more information on how to pay, visit rideuta.com/uvxfares.
FrontRunner
FrontRunner, or Route 750, runs every hour on Saturdays. Be sure to purchase your fare before you board. FrontRunner fare is based off the length of your trip. You can grab a fare at a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) at the station or on your phone using the Transit app. The cool thing about the app is you can buy your ticket up to 90 days in advance and activate it when you need it.
You can also buy tickets for your whole family with a Group Day Pass, which is only $15 and is good for up to 4 riders. You can purchase Group Passes at a TVM at a TRAX or FrontRunner platform or in the Transit app.
