What You Need To Know
On Sunday, March 22, and Sunday, March 29, crews will perform maintenance work on the TRAX Red Line tunnel.
During this work, Red Line trains will operate on a single track between Fashion Place Station and Bingham Junction Station.
- Plan for delays of up to 10 minutes.
- Minor delays on the Blue Line are also possible.
- No bus bridge will be in place. Trains will continue running through the area.
Regular TRAX service will resume on Monday after work is completed each Sunday (March 23 and March 30, respectively).

What To Expect
- Work will take place 24 hours a day on back-to-back Sundays.
- Nearby residents and businesses may notice nighttime noise, lighting, dust, and vibration.
Why This Is Happening
This work is part of the Tunnel Interlocking Destressing State of Good Repair project, which helps maintain and improve critical rail infrastructure in the TRAX Red Line tunnel.
These upgrades help keep the TRAX system safe, reliable, and running smoothly for riders.
